Post your requests or IC questions to the Cap'n below. Apart from resurrections or life-or-death priority needs, the Cap'n generally does not grant requests, due to extreme power limitations.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all threads on this post are considered to be Private.

Though the Narrenschiff does not speak in any traditional way and is not reachable by communicator, it is sentient, and characters occasionally reach out to it via tapping on walls in Morse Code, spelling out messages in alphabet-letter fridge magnets, and other creative methods; if your character decides to try this, those messages may be dropped here as well!

So I just want to say I love what you've done with the place. Even though it's still in space exactly like the other barge, somehow there's that refreshing sea air feeling. Also love the mix of eras, very steampunk, very cyberpunk, very... everythingpunk. And in spite of the sawdust that might have scattered around, my lungs haven't been all that irritated. Really incredible work and... I was wondering if there's any particular reason for that?

You see, I have this minor but occasionally life-threatening condition called asthma which is best treated by Albuterol? I have a little on me, it'll probably last the short duration of our no-hitch ride. In fact, anyone else who suffers from a similar condition might benefit, though sharing inhalers is a bit unhygienic. But if you happen to already have any on you, that would be good to know? For later? Hypothetically?

What, isn't there already any in the infirmary?

[ooc: with regards to the infirmary stock, the Cap'n leaves those supplies up to the crew to gather and distribute! it's totally fine for anyone playing a Narrenschiff crew member who's a doctor/medical staff to assume that their character would've picked up psychiatric medication from another ship they raided in the past, but the Cap'n will (while grumbling) grant a request for any of the medications that Walter can't source from the infirmary.]

[Hopper1 does its part in the cleanup - Jedao's targeted attack in the Orlop deck means it can help by holding wires or such in place while others enact repairs. The mast is somewhat more difficult, though it does seek out people's discarded and rent belonging in order to try and return them.

But, between its experiences with the Narrenschiffians and the Bargeizans, it still has one question ~~okay, so it always has questions BUT~~:]

If desire = be free of Authority, but power source now = attacking Authority ships, freedom from Authority = not real? Indirect, but still connected/determined by Authority existence.
What are other ways to be free?
